Ive never been a fan of halo. IN MY OPINION, halo is over hyped and just a basic fps that did far better than it deserved. I found its story rather blaned, its gameplay standard, but nothing more, and its multilayer okay but it got repetitive very quickly.

Half-Life 2 has been my #1 favorite game since i first got it. Great story, good animations, graphics, physics, sounds, gameplay, etc. You name it, and chances are Half-Life 2 has got it.

I think Half-life 2 would be a better candidate for a RTS than Halo, though i don't really have any reason to back that up at the moment. I will edit if some occur to me.

i think every thing from halo was over hyped while halo 3 is a great game its not that great the only thing ive seen that really makes it an improvement on other games is forge everything else has been done and in most cases its been done better

Well you know, Half Life 2 Wars is not out yet. But we saw the gameplay, i hope. And i think that that was a great walkthrought to feel how it would be to play it, so i think people can still vote up from what they saw

Just to see what people think is better. These games are preatty simular so it would be nice to know what actualy is really the best. Even tho i think, they are both great, and all the games are just great, just every single, exsept for ET

Halo Wars probably in development way before this mod started development. Halo wars is being developed by tonnes of experts working full time for a huge legitimate computer company (microsoft?) who are experts on the production of games. The experts are being paid enough to seriously get them working.
(note: microsoft is so f**king big that the post is telling me the correct spelling is with a capital 'M')

Half Life Wars on the other hand is a "Third-Party" modification of a game of another, possibly less powerful, company who don't even legally know of it's existence. The main person who makes sure everything works is Sander. He is not getting payed to my knowledge and neither is anyone else on this development. People sign up for the team for free.
The experts are not getting majorly pushed into completing this mod to selling franchise quality as quick as possible.

Halo Wars in comparison looks slightly boring in comparison to the rough copy beginning of Half Life Wars Mod in my opinion. In my opinion, any third-party mod that makes a legitimate game like Halo Wars, made by a professional and majorly successful computer game company, look even comparable, not to mention slightly dull, is a F**KING AWESOME GAME!!!

Well I think you have my opinion. Great work Sander and all other staff working and contributing to this full of potential game!

i maybe like halo wars... but cant test it...so stupit to release a game only for one console...

...Seriously, though, I don't feel like they pulled off the Halo games well. Particularly in the regards to gameplay, level-design and story...

Coding-wise, it may be a good game. I don't know. On the designers' and artists' decisions, however, it's poor.

For Halo Wars I don't truly know. While I have an Xbox, I'm broke and the only reason I'd ever play it would be to try out and see how well they've shagged the RTS controls.
