i have a question
why would you make striders killable by regular bullets?

balance?
well , rebels got anti-armor and combine got armor
combine doesn't have anti-armor but they can counter armor with thier armor
rebels doesn't have armor , but they can kill armor with anti-armor

why are you trying to make equal units for both sides while both sides are pretty different?

The focus of the mod is currently on a balancing the units and obviously the strider goes down too quickly against bullets atm. The values used in the videos are only test values and certainly not final.

The damage dealt to an unit is modified by the damage and armor type:

I think it is still too easy to mass a lot of soldiers and still do a lot of damage to a strider. To fix that problem we likely have to change the modifier to near zero (or just zero so the strider can't receive any damage from bullets..).
