Alright I'm engaging my Supreme Commander fanboyism here so reader beware.
Like it was mentioned, if you have difficulties or feel uncomfortable playing Supreme Commander because it's to much work, than you need to start playing smaller games, instead of jumping into straight out 41 kilometre squared maps.
That being said the only fun I ever have in supreme commander is on those massive 41 kilometre maps.
And about Starcraft 1/2 being more fun where as Supreme Commander is very "Okay I've got these doodz now I need to" etc etc, you're either not playing the game right or you're paranoid. Timely attacks with 10-20 T2 units while you secretly spam GCs or whatever EXP you enjoy the most will of course be hard work, but when your enemy attacks with a single EXP thinking to wipe you off the face of the Earth and BAMN 20 Galactic Collosi come out of no where and just own everything on the battlefield- that is the true feeling of Supreme Commander, which brings me to the next point.
Starcraft massive army: 50 or so units.
Supreme Commander massive army: 1000 or so units.
Do the maths.
Fanboyism disengaged.
Both games have their strengths, I've never played Starcraft 2 but from what I've heard it's those very sneaky ninja attacks that make the game so fun, it would be fair to just say that both have their strengths and that they appeal to different players.
But just because I admit to that, it doesn't mean I don't have the right to Nsist that Supreme Commander owns Starcraft 2.
tl:dr
Supreme Commander>Starcraft 2 IF you have the time and energy to play it like an RTS, and not a chore.
Good mappers do it right, the best mappers do it right over 20 times without losing their sanity.
You might have speed cheats on or wall hacks just to see.
But I've got the same ones running so just try and fuck with me!
