I actually like it more than GreyMind's :D (sorry GreyMind)

Just one thing tho, the T sounds and S sounds are the loudest and kinda feel non-smooth. But for everything else, really well done!

i'll try muffling the t n s sounds a bit in future recordings
I think I'll try hacking some l4d2 and hl2 content up to imitate the rebel concept art

since it looks cool af

Aww, I was going to do something like that.

also did some more combine lines with more combine military jargon

IMO this is done for dirt)
Combine voice would sound more authentic with more lows and mids, listen to the files taken from original HL2 to get the right tone)
Testers gonna test.

EDIT:
I think a kind of headwear distinguishment system would be nice for Rebels: inferior units like refugees and partisans don't wear anything on their heads, Engineers and Rebels already have construction hats and caps respectively, Veterans can wear kevlar/metal army helmets painted camo with team color elements, and RPG-men may have same as Veterans or monotonous khaki army helmets with two team-colored crossed rockets painted on the top))

Maybe a tank helmet for the saboteur, tank helmet is advanced in external noise suppression that he does need, handling explosives
Testers gonna test.

Don't you think those helmets are too generic and militari

Don't you think those helmets are too generic and militaristic? I think different skins/uniforms for different units would be better like the Combine SG soldier for example.

yeah you've got a point, i still think the rebels should have some hat variety though, maybe hoods, flatcaps, that kinda stuff

instead of just that one beanie

Yeah, I think some type of hood would fit the saboteur.

Also, I'm not saying that military helmets are bad, but they could have a sort of improvised, scrappy look just to fit in more.

maybe like goggles on top and patches n scribbles would work, a cigarette pack taped to it, that kinda stuff
you should prolly add me on steam so we can discuss more directly

Dude, your Combine lines sound stellar! They're a bit harsh and hard to understand, though (similar to the HL2 originals). I think they'd be PERFECT for individual units and, if you cleaned up the harshness of the effects so that it was clearer, it would make a good Announcer voice for the Combine.

Indeed they sounded pretty nice, I played for a good while to try and get the filter right but I still fell short so I just sorta went all custom on it
