Tomorrow or the day after I plan to release a Full BETA version of wmp_thebridge. The updates to the map are as follows...
-Added more background scenary
-Fixed Navigation Mesh problems
-Added displasements to make the land seem more realistic
-Added a beach at ethier island
-Improved water texture
-Added Victory conditions to the level
-Added 4 rebels which spawn at Helicopter capture point taken
-A Combine dropship spawns 4 combine at combine warehouse Capture point taken
-More details to the bridge
-New grass texture
-More props
-Extra Episode 2 content
-Level been made extra large
-The Removel of almost all lights to increase performence.
-The Func_detailing of all none square blocks for better performence
-Adding of the Minimap
-and More!

It's great you're still working on this map! One big concern I have with it though, which you don't mentioned above, is that there's currently no point by the combine base while the rebels have one. I tried playing this versus a friend, but since I was the only one getting resources in the beginning there's wasn't really much to do. Still a great map though, I'd love to see the next version. :up:

Their is a cap point sat right next to the combine base. In the earliler version it dosent have a white circle but look closely at the warehouse you may find their is a cap point pole their ^^

hey um on the news you said that your going to have a beach and more realistic islands, does that mean they wont look like boxes any more?

Yep thats true, the only part which needs improveing now is the hillsides but im working on that towards the final edition.

Oh, well thanks for that. May give the map a new try soon then.
@Anderan: The map is basically to small islands connected by a huge bridge. Rebels start on the northern Island, while combines start at the south. Player one (usually the one hosting) plays as rebels while player two is combine. It is possible to choose though, so I guess you could say you can play as both.

I havent been able 2 test this theory yet but...
It may be poissible if ran through the map "Room" to select positions of players but i cant clarify this at moment.

No you cant select positions of players in the game lobby, already tried :P

This GAMMA version is the Final version in which i would class it as in the "beta testing stage" After this it will hit V1.0 and any bug fixes after that will come as small updates e.g. V1.1 etc. SO please if you notice somthing which I may not know about post it!

Full GAMMA version of wmp_thebridge notes. The updates to the map are as follows...
-Adapted to run on the BETA versions of HL2Wars with new scripts etc
-Fixed more Navigation Mesh problems
