I think it would be good to have a Daylight version of this map. I can't see anything to give feedback from the video.

Why are the voice-overs so cheesy? Are they part of the map or a future version of the game?

Future part of the game but i would not say they were "cheezy" + only 1 reliable voice actor makes it hard to get variety in sound :(

Is it me or does "stay frosty" always sound kinda... out of place is a serious combat situation, i always laugh when i hear it...

Also, why not have a thread for people to submit their own lines for the game? I cant, i dont have a mic though...

Have a thread for it just have read around for it. ALso it does say at the bottom of that post..."If you think any sounds stupid or need removing/changing say so" and so far no one has said anything for the past few months so i assumed all sounded good.

Just the delivery is off, it needs a more serious voice, like... well im not sure, but if anyone has an idea just toss it out there.

I know what you mean i have a few which need tweaking but first time around i just want them all their and workin then i can think about getting some rerecordings done and have em updated. + Their were origonally many more but that is why i had a voice actors meeting where we did go through every single one and comment on them and if nessassary take action on them.

Comments should be partly serious and partly funny. In Hl2 the rebels say some funny things too, so it would fit the ambient.

1. Fix water: http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... nstruction
2. Fix lighting. No lighting compiled?
3. Change ceiling texture to sky texture. This looks stupid and I think this won't cast lighting from Light_environment entity. And you will miss the sky reflections this way.
4. Change the brush work into displacements at the both sides of the bridge and blend some textures on them. It looks very repetitive right now.

The bridge itself seems pretty nice so far, but the stuff around it need a lot of work.

This map should be nice for a campaign. Still needs some fixing and cosmetic effects but its ok. Good work.

1. Proboly fixed but can't test it at moment (read below to see why)
2. Lighting fixed but compiling of lighting yet to do.
3. WIll do when I get chance
4. Noticed that and will do somethign about it soon.

+ As now the Skybox is working propoly now the VVIS has on 5 occations crashed and frozen the map trying to complie...and it only gets to around 30%/40% :cry: and I cannot get it to complie successfully :(
