So can i play multiplayer?

Im quite new to this mod and ive been looking round the fourum and ive seen alot of people talking about the "map room"
im just wondering what it is, i know it lets you play custom maps but does it let you play multiplayer yet?
Also is there any single player maps user created maps out there because i can only seem to find multiplayer one...

Go to HL2 builds somewhere in this forum and download the latest build with the latest edition map map. Bigger the number: more updated the DL package. Organize to play the same game with someone at a specific time in right time-zones and click 'find servers' in menu and play.

First method

You should use console commands:
1. maxplayers 4
2. map room
3. sv_lan 0
After inserting console commands you must to learn your IP-address and find one player

Address of your server is your IP-address and port (27015/27005)

Second method

1. Download Hamachi
2. Sign Up in Hamachi
3. maxplayers 4
4. map room
5. sv_lan 1

now your IP-address above your nick (in hamachi window)

I’ve looked all over the forum for the download link for the latest build and I could not find it. Could you link it for me please?

All of you should stop bumping really old threads. This thread was made last year when there was not mutiplayer. There is of coarse, mutiplayer right now and no, you cant play it till the next release.

Also there is no download link to the latest build.
