I saw you talking about this in the mirc, let me say that this map sounds soooo good and its going to rock and i cant wait to play it

Looks great! I especially love the way that you're able to defend the canyon. (Last picture)
Ever placed C&C RA2? The map called Canyon Fodder reminds me of this.
Where the team has to pass through a canyon that is close to the enemy base, where the enemy has an advantage. However when the enemy has to attack, he has to do the same.
None the less, it looks great!

I toyed with the idea of having players able to go into the ravines but prefered the idea of advancing an island at a time on your enemies. Will see how thingso go tho it might change

I havent played any of the Red Alerts, only the Tiberium series. Either way it sounds like a good idea for a new map.

How about making some bridges breakable? Forcing you to take the ravine path. Though not all bridges are breakable, therefore there's always the option of re-routing over other bridges.
Anyway, that could be made in future or a other maps.
Oh, and placing rocks or other obstacles near bridges are a +++ in Defensive spots.

By the way, noticed on the first (new) picture, there's only one bridge leading from the base (From what I can see).
Anyway, Multiplayer? I know I've heard of it being possible, but I though only Beta Testers had the ability to play online.

You can just setup a server through console commands in the current release and connect by ip.
