my steam account was hacked and now im out of business untill valve can save me

are you sure it got hacked or did you give your password out?

Did you lose your steam account completely without further ado? You know, there should be, from what I know, ways to get your account back.

no, if you got hacked, that means someone sent you a a keylogger or something like that. if you just gave your password out i dont call that hacking

4 houers befor my account was taken over and passowrd changed there was this random girl that added me named "australian girl" i had no idea who she was but she asked me if i had signed up to sme tornyment yet.

i ignored her firstly but then she sent me a link. it looked like the steam home page so i went to log in but it dident go any futher, it just stayed at that screen.

then i went to play tf2 but someone else loged in to my steam account while i was playing it.

im gessing that link she sent me was just a copy of the steam homepage and that she got my info when i eneterd it in.(hmm now that i loook back i dont think it was the same domain for teh steam main site)

she was really forcefull and all she talked about was that i joined this tornyment. so i think she haxed me


iv tryed the Recover lost account option on the sign in thing and then say "i dont know my password" so i only have to enter my email, and it will send the varification code and secret question to my email.

it dident get sent to my email no matter how many times i did it and diferent ways i did it. it wasent in my junk mail folder.

steam likes to load for me then not put up the ui and taskbar thing, so i have to close it in taskmanager and reopen it...

Anyway work would probably start when we have buildings and units for what would be needed (walls, antlion guardian unit-not just reskin but does dmg to armor, acid effects, etc, combine spec units, headcrab facility), and we need to know about them before we do anything with it (need to get the scale right).

Being an Australian, I don't think that "australiangirl" was a girl at all. Send Steam or Valve a message telling them about how you got phisched and send them the link. With an artificial copy of their website, that gives out people's passwords outside Steam, they are sure to change the password and give you you're new password on your email account. If not, then they are sure to lock that faggot out of your account. They might trace the IP and find the F**KER and jail him. Either way, I wouldn't want some F**KHEAD playing my well paid for games that I had worked hard for and so I couldn't use them. If they do give you you're new password, I suggest a new email account that you know is legitimate.

This campaign sounds really good. I'm sure whatever Vaun does with it will be great. Good luck!
