Mapping Team Sign-Up

Well, the storyline and general designs for the maps Has been fleshed out, but now im looking for experienced (at least moderately experienced in hammer), as well as modellers/skinners.

What i need is:
1.Steam friends name
2.what your skilled at.
3.What position you want (ex. mapper, unit skinner, etc)
4.when you'll be available
5.A Sample of your work

Just fill this out and ill contact you when i can.

Well i already counted you on the team,but ya, and i wanna try thebridge as a singleplayer rebel basebilding tutorial.

I am planning to make a single player version which wont take to long over the mutiplayer but i want the mutiplayer to be ready first as I will have to add bits for the single player version

OK, so whats the story of the bridge? Something like the combine are holding the bridge, and the rebels need it to get supplies to their allies in city##.

Also, where do i put that ztmp file?

A small rebel squadren has managed to fight their way through a town and get to the last bridge across a river (name still pending). As this is the last bridge it is vital to future opertaions in the area so this small rebel squadren has been givin the order to retake the bridge and hold it at all costs. The bridge is heavily guarded by combine forces which will need stragetic thinking to be used otherwise the chances of the rebel squdren suviving will be slim. The Squadren is in your hands =)

Well since hl2 generally takes place in a slavic speaking area, id name the rive nobyl, which is slavic for grass or stalks (depending on language), kinda like "sticks", a parody of styx.

And look up April 26, 1986... the most famous nuclear incident in history, Reactor 4 of the chernobyl facility blew up, i figure a similar name fits, concidering the "good guys" were taking on a suicide mission.

Well anyway you can start working oon this at any time, post a few pics every so often.

Also im having a bit of a problem with thebridge, theres no water(just a flat black area), and the npcs keep hiding behind the concrete divider barricades when i tell them to move foreward, needs a few node fixes. Also, wheres the ztmp file go?

Yea they do that but to fix it u need to make em move back from cover then move around it then they tend to be fine. Also their is water its just that version dosent have the correct skybox model so the water wont rander correctly but it does work (splashes) non-the less

OK ill add you, Can you make a detailed combine fortification and build area? and when they impliment headcrab artillary and such, add in a headcrab infested area and a headcrab artillary station in it (just make sure its neutral to all untill you capture it).

i can skin, map(very well but i have a dif style), and i know how to compile models just havent done it befor

Just need a ruined city with pockets of rebels and zombies with a few ways to the ruied citadel, where u get an apc that must be protected from a rebel onslaught, then a white forest like area with a small fortified area and a headcrab launching facility thats overrun by headcrabs a short distance away, where u defend against antlions and guards. the third is a mostly indoor combine base with a time where u can recapture combine factories and such to help repel the rebels and disable (damage the aa power generator) or destroy (capture all security checkpoints and activate security turrets or outright offensive) an anti air batter that the rebels are holding to destroy the dropship carrying the important thing u salvaged in mission 1.

All the details are in like the first or so post.
