Render distance problem

Render distance problem

Was making map, have done layout and faced this problem:
What ever I do, game renders only small area around player.



I can see whole map only, when I fly outside skybox.


So is there any way to fix this, other then compiling under different engine version?

put a func_viscluster brush inside your map covering everything.
don't make it touch water though

Well thanks, today with a fresh mind I had found a better solution.
Despite making one huge viscluster is working, it drasticly increases compile time and basicly fool the vvis, witch is never good, especially when it comes to lighting and optimization.
So there a proper (IMHO) way:
While compiling, choose advanced mode go to $vis_exe string
and a parameter -radius_override (radius size in units)

This one to me can be used for many things. One idea that I was thinking of was a "dark energy" power generator or a simple synth factory. And it is pretty tall. Almost a tower.
