Hey readers.
I am currently working on a new map for about 2 weeks now.
I am still working on the name.
Most of the work has been done, but it is quite simple so i was wondering if you, the community, could help me with some nice suggestions, ideas, anything to help me.
Let me show some information about the map:
-Two starting points.
-Very much sand
-A few rocks, big rocks so that it is not just sand.
-1 or 2 player game.
-Small hills on the side, and you might not see it on the pictures, the Ground is very bumpy.
As you can see it is not much, and more should be in it..
And so, I was 'hoping' you.. the community could help me with this and suggest all they can.

See, that is what I've got so far, so please give suggestions so that I can make it better.

Hmm, well... I would add resource points to the sides, and maybe put a few buildings up to defend each one. You can load your units into it, and have them defend it alot easier.

Map's looking excellent, though I'm not sure if the Hives are supposed to be that close. Nice to see that the gaps between the places are big enough for Guards and Guardians to move to and from. The rocks around the Antlion Grub Resource looks well positioned. Are they unpassable?
And... I dunno what else... I think add some rocks near the Hive in the 3rd Pic. That Hive has the advantage of space, whereas the second Hive is a tad bit too close to the Middle AGR. Try to make it near the edge of the Map like the first one. Hmm... everything else seems to be perfect.
PS: Do Antlion Grubs still spawn underground?

Yeh i agree, it's really not good to have hives close to each other. Maybe you could add more rocks dividing them? But overall, i like it. Great work pand.

it is for antlions vs antlions, so it would be rather pointless having buildings for the antlions.

Well, it would be annoying if the guards and guardians weren't allowed inside.

Yes, they are unpassable you will have to go around them to get past them.

not bad but, It looks rather flat, very orange and in need of some texture blending.

I know it looks flat from above, but it really isn't..
I think I'm going to make it more bumpy so that it looks less flat.

But it has to fit in and look good.

You could possibly surround the level boundaries by making it as if the level were in a large canyon? This would certainly help the player distinguish where their troops can move. See the pic below.

Also, you could move the grub resource points at the players' hives farther away, to make it even that much more tough to gain resources. I suggest for the player 1(on the left) to the top center near the rock, and for player 2(on the right) to the bottom center near the rock.

The thing is, I already asked how to make them map boundaries but it wasn't put in yet. so it can't be done "yet"

I haven't done much to it lately.. but I'm kinda finished on it but there is just a very annoying bug i still have to fix.
