How to use SVN

First of all, SVNing is really helpful, it's not only useful for HL2 wars, but for anything that is able through svn,i found it verry useful for Garrys mod . What SVN does is get the latest version of something.Automatically Downloads if teh Build Is Updated.


1. Download Tortoise SVN from:

32 Bit: http://sourceforge.net/project/download ... r=internap

64 bit: http://sourceforge.net/project/download ... rror=voxel

2. Install Tortoise SVN and follow the on screen procedures.

3. Go to your steamapps folder usually located in:

C:\Program Files\steam\steamapps\

4. Right click on Sourcemods and select SVN Checkout

5. When it asks you for a URL. Enter the SVN url Located Below this tutorial

6. Wait while it installs and you are ready to go!

7. Now you can go to your friends and show off with your latest version of HL2 wars

first off... its stupit to register and say that you hate persons, that gives us the image of you that your a asshole.
second, why hate jenks ? he made this mini-mod for the community so that we have something to do till next release of Half life 2: wars.
and third, he's done nice and good things. he took time to make us happy! so whats wrong with him!?!
