As you no doubt have noticed it's been awfully quiet around here the past year or two... not a whole lot going on on the forums.
Well, we want this to change. With Beta 2 on the horizon, we are going to be launching a brand new website (featuring some nifty things like an in-depth player's guide detailing each faction's units, buildings, research, and abilities and info about the game modes and resource system) and with it a brand new look and layout to the forums. You can expect to see this within the next couple of months.
The goal is to revitalize our community, get some discussion flowing and attract some fresh faces to the forum! If you're one of the probably 3 people reading this who aren't on the dev team, then first of all bravo for sticking around despite how quiet it's been around here. Second, I want to encourage you to bookmark the forums on your toolbar and check every day, and help us liven things up by posting new threads and discussions, whether about HL2: Wars or other stuff. Third - invite your friends! There is a lot you can do as a fan to help us popularize the mod and forums - link your friends here, have them register and join the party. If you post on other gaming related forums, stick "I love HL2: Wars" in your signature (or something like that) along with a link to our website and forum
2012 is going to be our biggest and best year yet, and you can be damn sure we'll remember who our old school fans were!
