Heya guys.
There's some questions I've been thinking about lately for the Multiplayer Beta.
Since you guys changed everything to python, it's now easier to make units move and attack but there's somethings in the game that've bothered me. I'll start the questions.
- Will the Rebels be back in the game in the future soon?
- Will the Combine Sniper return?
- Will the Hunters and Striders be playable, if they are going to be included?
- Will Manhacks, Shield Scanners and City Scanners be in the game too?
- Will the Vortigaunts be back if they're balanced enough to be in the game?
These are the questions that are bothering me lately. As you can see I've been wondering why these guys weren't included in the Multiplayer Beta.
Is it because of Balance Issues? Or is it because they are simply overpowered?
Anyways, I'll be waiting for an answer or two and see whether if the units I've mentioned above will return to the Multiplayer Beta, or not.

Because it's a multiplayer beta, not everything is going to be added in. That's what the full release is for.As you can see I've been wondering why these guys weren't included in the Multiplayer Beta.

Not because of balancing issue's, but because I completely dropped the old NPC code base. So pretty much all npc's require some rewriting. I'm also not fully done with the AI yet. There are some aiming issue's and they do not find a correct position to shoot yet automatically (in case their aim is blocked).MCJJ wrote: These are the questions that are bothering me lately. I realy hope the combines get fixed as there just full auto super accurate shotguns

About the Vortigaunt:

At least it can now attack the enemies at half the power it originally had (I think).
Oh yeah, about the Vortigaunt's special move that can stun the Antlions (where it charges its hands, slams the ground hard and stuns the antlions around it), will that become an ability for the Vortigaunt?
