Anyone been watching The Walking Dead?

It's a new series on AMC that premiered on Halloween. It's about a zombie apocalypse and is based on a series of really popular American comic books by the same name. The second episode just came on last night.

I have to say it's fucking awesome. If you haven't checked it out and you like zombies, I'd recommend acquiring it.

The Walking Dead is so epic. But sometimes I think that it's a little bit of over dramatic...

Yeh i have been watching it, i absolutely love it. I am right into the zombie genre and i have been waiting for another good zombie series to pop up.

I even downloaded the leaked first episode because i couldn't wait Both episodes have been epic.

Yeah I have some bones to pick with the series too. The zombies trying to break the door with rocks, zombies climbing ladders (slowly) and fences, and other implications that they have limited intelligence really bugged me. Also the whole "smear gore all over ourselves to make the zombies think we're them" was stupid (seriously, if getting the blood in your eyes/mouth/etc is going to turn you into a zombie, probably its not the best idea to smear zombie blood all over your body and shirt collar and everything).

Despite that and a few other misgivings, I still think it's a great series. The pilot was the strongest episode so far though, altho i enjoyed the latest one too.

Nah, it was only 6 episodes before the first episode aired. They have already announced a second season.

I would watch the series, but I prefer zombies from 28 Days Later. George A. Romero's canon of slow walking zombies seem really boring. Fast, vicious, cannibalistic, L4D zombies is what I'm really interested in.

Slow or Fast, I just like Zombies, period. Ive been wanting forever for a Zombie T.V. series. Ive seen every episode in the season, twice. Cant wait for Season 2.

I found all the episodes on YouTube and watched them right away, I have to say.. It's awesome! Now I can't wait till the next season but I heard it aint coming till October 2011..
