We released an update with the following changes:

• Add Vortal Storm intro movie
• Reduce frequency at which unit order and selection sounds are played
• Add option to completely disable unit order and selection sounds (available in audio settings)
• Update Chromium Embedded Framework (html ui) to version 3.2526.1366.g8617e7c and add dgbhelp.dll to fix startup crash for that one Windows XP user

Could you provide your specs please?

Also had you tried to verify integrinity of game cache?
(ToDo: Go to your Steam library / Right-click "Lambda Wars Beta" / Select the option "Properties" / Go to Local Files / Select Verify Integrinity of Game Cache. The process can take up to 5 minutes, depending on how good your PC is)
