When it comes to 1 vs 1 games its only hlw_forest, hlw_slums and possibly hlw_mine

. These are all small maps

I designed these new large maps abandoned, jungle, woodland, waste, metro, village to be played for 1v1, even though they support 8 players, because the old 1v1 maps were actually too small and didn't have enough control points. The large maps are faster because they have more resources and there's more space to move your units around. Think it might be better to let people choose maps or something since the 8 player maps are still viable for 1v1 and better suited for it imo.
Also mixing in team games with 1v1 is weird. It won't provide a proper winner if you have to rely on team mates for certain rounds.
