Alright sorry Sander. Yeah I watched the vids and learned from that too. I liked the abilities panel, as well as the attributes. What I wasn't able to do was to get a grub with a worker and take it back to the HQ to get resource. Its a nice build, loved the unit control, and can't wait to do it with...

As far as I know, you need any orangebox game. The thing you really need is the Orange Box SDK, and believe it is contained in any game. But maybe a dev wil tell you better.

Well that's true, but you need to know what is the scope of the mod. For instance how much are you willing to code, to model, to write (as in stoy telling), texture and map. An exaple could be the sooo mentioned rebel tank, first of all you need to make some concept art, add a story that explains it...

Yeah, but I think that is 100% scripted. What I mean would be more like automatic AI. Only the arrival and retreat (if not destroyed) would be scripted. I'm not sure this can be implemented. Probably a dev can get me out of that doubt.
