looks nice, I like the darkness, it really gives the map a nice atmosphere. you do need to place some npc clips in the fences next to the road as my units are trying to navigate through them.
the map looks promising so far, keep it up.:)

For idea have a look around at some current RTS games/current maps we have for some inspiration! ^This and before making a map you could also try and draw a map(with paint :D), it really helps you with getting a nice layout.(the layout is very important! even if the map looks amazing it can still b...

You may have added this, but allowing a player to tell a unit or units to "patrol" an area (where the unit or units have a route to follow) or creating or implementing an invisible radius around a unit which can tell a unit if a target is close enough to fire upon without direct intervention of the...

Hey I_Jedi, first off, Welcome to our forums! :) second, I've read you suggestions/ideas, I think some of those map would be quite fun to play. But there is kind of a problem.. right now we're focussing 100% on the multiplayer. and that means that we can't really do something with the mission sugges...

well, that is because we completely started working from scratch, all had to be redone/recoded. and this time we started with the antlions(multiplayer) instead of the combine / rebels singleplayer

Rain is very easy to be put in a map, but so far i haven't made a map where It would be logical to put it in there.
For example: rain in or_trapped? Which is located underground. or in or_hot_sand? A desert map? :lol:

So basically I only need to add this infest building mechanism + the actually gamemode. How exactly would you imagine this mechanism? How big should a building be that can be infested? Should a headcrab simply disappear when it touches the building and then a progress bar appears showing the infest...
