That was pretty good. Rminds me of my map series, but i focused on the combine, specifically a high "ranked" elite in his attempt to secure and defend something that could get the combine up and running again...
But mine had a lot of scripts and some stuff that wasn't implimented yet.

Probably because they gave it absolutely no extra ammunition and semi-poor acc. But if given better accuracy and more ammo, and an ample supply of altfire ammo, it would be unstoppable.

Hed be like the other important people in HL2, never around when you need them. But that doesnt mean there cant be other special forces people around to teach rebels to be actual soldiers, maby even a select few getting special gear (like HECU gear for recognizabillity and nostalgia).

Think of it this way:
rebels get anti air/armor at level one, combine dont get aircraft till 2 and dont get better stuff till 3.

Id say that after exploring like 80% of the map, the fog disappears, or when you control X ammounts of objects, whatever they may be.

The current way needs to stay because lets face it; it works fine, its balanced (untill we get striders, then rpg soldiers need a denerfing). The rebels using prebuilts is impossible because the combine would camp and you'd be stuck.
